ISWNews Analysis Group: On March 14, the Libyan National Army (LNA) aircraft bombed areas in the city of Obari In southern Libya.
The tribes of Obari had declared their support for the GNA on June 8, 2020, and following this stance, the LNA has already sent several military convoys to the Al-Sharara, Al-Fil, and military bases around the city.
Today’s airstrike by the LNA comes as General Haftar recently met with tribal leaders in Benghazi. In light of these developments, it seems that the rivalry between General Haftar and the GNA has shifted to southern Libya.
